Courtyard & Formal Water Features

It is not an easy task to make a sanctuary out of a confined space hemmed in by glass or concrete. Formal water features are an amazing way to bring life to a patio, courtyard or entrance to your house. Generally conforming to strict geometric shapes, formal features are usually above ground and are contained by a low wall with a symmetrical stone cap. Often these features contain either a fountain or a waterfall weir. Soft under water lighting create interesting shadows in the evening and highlight important aspects of the water feature.
